Getting to Know
I had a few friends within the program and enjoyed my rotations here.
The program itself offered a great mix of high volume radiology with core learning that fit with my style of learning. The other residents and the staff are helpful and open to any requests.
Usually starts pretty early in the morning and ends in the early evening. Each day has its own obstacles but learning is vast in radiology and I think that is challenging in itself. Knowing that each day is one step closer to being finished with training.
Great weather and low cost of living.
Tech-junky, investing, reading, traveling the world, running
I did a summer research elective with a neuroradiologist that introduced me to radiology and I haven’t looked back since.
It’s a special place that you can contour to your liking. What I mean by that, is that it is not a highly academic center, but if you wanted you could do as much research or scholarly activities as your heart’s desire. On the other hand, you could work hard pick up extra shifts and still match into a great fellowship.
