Family Medicine Residency Program Clinical Sites

An integral part of our residents training involves clinical experiences that impart practical training and a deeper understanding of local families and communities. Time spent with specialists and mentors in varied clinical settings including hospitals, public clinics and outpatient facilities allows our residents to become compassionate, skilled practitioners.

Church Health

The Baptist Family Medicine Residency Program has formed a partnership with the Church Health, which provides health care for the working uninsured and their families and promotes healthy bodies and spirits for all.

Church Health is currently located at 1210 Peabody Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104.

Crosstown Concourse

The Future at Crosstown

The Baptist Family Medicine Residency Program will relocate to a new building in 2017. This facility will be housed on the ground floor of the 1.5 million-square-foot Sears Crosstown building , which will be the result of a $200 million Crosstown renovation project. In addition to housing our Resident Clinic and all primary care clinic space currently provided at Church Health, the Crosstown building will also contain 260 apartments, a charter school, and will include such tenants as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Crosstown Arts, Gestalt Community Schools, Memphis Teacher Residency program, Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Rhodes College. The outcome of this innovative project is that our residents will train in medicine alongside, not only other health care providers, but also teachers and artists who engage the community in living a life well lived.
